As promised, I have created a new page here on my blog. Writers’ Helps has a list of links that will be of help to writers and anyone needing just the right word, a rhyming word, a translation, and more. I will be adding to this list as I find sites I especially like.
You can find the new page from the list at the top of the front page, and also in the pages category down the left side of this page.

Another option I really like is a search engine called DuckDuckGo. Unlike Google, it has an aggressive privacy policy, and best of all, it doesn’t decide for you what you want to see, based on your prior searches.
Doing the same search with Google and DDG can turn up quite different results. For my purposes, the Duck is the winner!

Thank you for this, Linda. There was another search engine I used but lost in my computer ‘crash’. Your comment reminded me, so I did a search to find it. 🙂 I checked out DuckDuckGo and like it, so that could become my trusted search engine. Today I’m starting a new list on this page.
