Today I am doing something a little different. I’m posting a second part to one of my reviews – Greet the Dawn: The Lakota Way by S. D. Nelson. Please be sure to refer to part one of my review HERE to gain a more complete appreciation of this book.

Oh, splendid! I do love the meadowlark – one of my favorite birds, though I rarely see one down here. I think the pastels are interesting – I’m so used to “southwestern” colors they don’t seem quite as “Native American”, but when you look closer at the ilustrations, the shapes and symbols are beautifully done, and full of life.
