Two of my favourites are War of the Worlds, which I have watched many times and will many more, and Cocktail. In looking at the list of his 42 movies, these two aren’t high on the list but they rate high with me.

Rain Man with Dustin Hoffman is incredible. Far and Away he did with his then-wife, Nicole Kidman. I like the historical aspect. These are his earlier movies. My husband has watched all the Mission Impossible and Jack Reacher movies but I’m not into action movies.

Some action movies I like, but not so much the almost-all-violence ones.
I have requested Rain Man, which seems to be on its way to me already. As for Far and Away, I’ve got it on my list to request a bit later. Thanks, Darlene!

Darlene, I watched The Rain Man this week. Oh. my. goodness! It is so good, with a bittersweet ending. The acting by Tom Cruise and Dustin Hoffman is remarkable! Thank you for reminding me of that movie.
