My 5th giveaway of 2016; your chance to win!

Are you ready for another giveaway?

I hope you are enjoying these gifts I’m offering. Today it’s not quite about reading or writing, but a way to inspire your creativity.

Do you like to colour? Or do you know someone who does? Then this is for you:

colouring book

colouring book.2Isn’t this a beautiful colouring book for adults? It should inspire your use of colour, your expression of beauty, maybe even ideas for a story.

And just because it’s an adult colouring book, that doesn’t mean it isn’t good for younger persons, too.  🙂

Here are a few of the twenty-four colouring pages found between those pretty covers.

  1. To relax my mind, I read devotions, or listen and watch nature mostly – birds singing/visiting feeders, frogs peeping, fish feeding in pond, wind gently blowing trees or lightly fallen snow. Also petting purring cats, walking in orchard, sitting at seashore, or watching ‘rainbows’ dancing on my walls from prisms in sunlight. I appreciate my moments stolen for silence from this crazy world.

    1. I have been told by a couple of people that meditation would work for me. Or yoga. I’m glad it works for you. Seems to me it would be a challenge as my mind is ALWAYS going. Always.

  3. The only time I used to colour was with the children (or grandchildren) UNTIL my daughter published her first colouring book. It’s amazing how relaxing it can be. 🙂 Would love to win a copy of this one.

My favourite way to unwind is wandering along the seashore. I love the wind off the water and the sound of waves lapping or crashing in. I always return home refreshed.

  5. I have several ways to unwind. My favorite involves being outside in the quiet, listening to the wind in the trees, the noise of the birds. Water sounds always relax me, and some music does as well…favorite of the classicals. When Im still would up, soft lights, candles and a bubble bath take care of it!

  6. I take a long walk with my husband and golden retriever along one of the many beautiful trails in our hometown, which border rivers or the lake. It is a great way to unwind, relax, and connect with my spouse after work or on the weekend.
