Today I am trying to get some catch-up done in my home before I start my shift at Dad’s, but I wanted to leave you with something to think about for the day. If I have already shared this I don’t remember when and I hope you’ll enjoy it again.
Do more than belong: participate. Do more than care: help. Do more than believe: practice. Do more than be fair: be kind. Do more than forgive: forget. Do more than dream: work. – William Arthur Ward
And from the Word of God:
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything is worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on those things. – Philippians 4:8
Do you have a quote or verse or reminder for yourself to help you keep on the positive side?
Thanks for reading, and … Creative Musings! 🙂
I have a few quotes that keep me going and that I share with the job seekers I work with. Here’s one:
“We are faced with a series of great opportunities brilliantly disguised as unsolvable problems.” John W. Gardner
Another one I have always loved is from our dear Maya Angelou:
“Success is liking yourself, liking what you do, and liking how you do it.”
– Maya Angelou
Have a wonderful Sunday and quality time with your father.

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting different results” ~based on an Albert Einstein quote.
I recently stumbled across this in a book (a character said it) and fell in love with it. Not sure if it fits your “guidelines”, but I like it! 🙂 I also like:
“It is normally on the path of avoiding it, that we find our destiny” ~French Proverb. 🙂

Einstein’s quote is a good one to keep in mind. 🙂 I hadn’t heard the French proverb you quoted; it’s a good one.
Thanks for sharing, Erik.
