“The time to read is any time: no apparatus, no appointment of time and place, is necessary. 3. This may be my new favorite. I’ve never heard it, but I like it very much:
“Children are made readers on the laps of their parents.” – Emilie Buchwald

It certainly was true for me. I still remember the big rocking chair where my mother would read to me, and I have a photo of myself, perhaps two or three, climbing into my dad’s lap to “help” him read the newspaper.

    • Hi Jamie! It’s great to see you! 🙂

Oh yes, I hear that one too … Just write!… and have even told it to myself. Easy to say, sometimes quite hard to do.
Your crit partner is right, you can’t edit what has not been put to paper. But judging by what I’ve seen lately, you have been writing
some amazing stories. I can hardly wait for your book. 🙂
