I’m sure you have heard and used the method of figuring out the age of your dog. Veterinarians figured out it’s inaccurate to say 1 year in a dog’s life equals 7 years in a human’s life, and they came up with a new chart. (This info I obtained from this very good site: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com) I also found out there is a chart for cats, too. (Look on this site: http://cats.about.com/cs/healthissues/a/agechart.htm)

My daughter’s cat, Barnsworth, passed away last week at 19 years of age. I guess that made him 92; a very good age. She misses him badly though.

That’s sad. My beautiful cat, Scamper, died at age 17 – 84 in human years. I certainly missed her.

Clyde is about 4 years old, so that would make him about 32 years. How old is Meyya? Great source! Can you put this in the Writers’ Helps under distractions? 😉

Meyya is 10 months old, so equal to 14 human years.
